William Bonner Worrell of Orangeburg, became the bride of Mr. Otis Mills Goddlett, III, son of Dr. and Mrs. Otis Mills Goodlett, Jr. of Williamston at the Northside Baptist Church at seven thirty o'clock, Saturday evening December 21.

The double ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend Francis E. Davis. Preceding the ceremony, Mr. Byron Wiles presented a program of nuptial music. Miss Gail Dukes sang Perfect Love," "Because" and "The Wedding Prayer." The church was beautifully decorated with palms and brass candelabra.

A large arrangement of mixed white flowers was placed in the baptistry. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was beautiful in her floor-length wedding gown of silk peau de soie. The gown was designed with a Florentine neckline, empire waist and long sleeves ending in calla lily points over the wrists. Hand-clipped chantilly lace embossed the bodice and hemline. She wore a matching cathedral length mantilla and carried a cascade of white lillies of the valley, white roses and a white orchid corsage in the center.

Mrs. Joseph F. Worrell, sister-in-law of the bride and Miss Frances Elizabeth Goodlett, sister of the groom served as matron and maid of honor. Both wore floor-length gowns of ruby collar and long sleeves. A satin band enhanced the empire waist.

They wore satin bows and carried a cascade of varigated pink and shocking pink miniature elegant carnations. The bridesmaids were Miss Ann Vaughan and Miss Helen Vaughan, both cousins of the bride, of Charleston; Miss Sharon Smith of Orangeburg and Miss Laxie White of Springfield. Their dresses and bouquets were identical to the honor attendants', Miss Tonya Phillips, cousin (Please Turn To Page 6B).
