Ellison, 21, died in the one-car accident at 4:20 a.m. on U.S. 17-A Just east of Moncks Corner, the patrol said. Another Berkeley County man died early Saturday when he was struck by a car on South Carolina 45 two miles east of St. Stephen In Berkely County.

Cleveland Elliott, 19, of St. Stephen died in the accident at 2:30 a.m. Myron C. Blankenship, 19, of Sheldon, died Saturday when the car he was driving struck an 18- wheeler in Beaufort County; Troopers said Blankenship died in the wreck at 2 a.m. on U.S.

17, 1.5 miles south of Gardens Comer. Thurman Monroe Simmons, 21, Of Dillon, was killed in a one-vehicle wreck at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, troopers said. Simmons died in the wreck on a secondary highway in Dillon County. Accidents late Friday claimed two lives.

Mike Craig, 35, of Kershaw died in a motorcycle accident in Kershaw County at 11:30 p.m." And Clifton Succh, 10, of Andrews, was killed when the bicycle he was riding on a secondary road in Williamsburg County was struck by a car at 7 15 p.m, the patrol said. Servest Ann Williams died at 2:35 a.m. when she was struck by a car at the intersection of South Carolina Highway 81 Just south of Greenville.

Another pedestrian was struck but not killed, police said. Also early Sunday, Wayne Burnette Munn Jr. of Elgin, 24, died at 1:15 a.m. when the car he was driving struck a tree on a secondary road off South Carolina Highway 5 in Kershaw County. Early Saturday morning, two Upstate residents died when their cars collided head-on in Anderson County.

Scotty Leo Sullivan of Anderson, 21, died at 4:35 a.m. Saturday when the car he was driving had a head-on collision on U.S. 29 north Bypass. The accident also claimed the life of 27-year-old Jimmy Witcher of Greenville, police said. Willie James Bowman, a 46-year-old Bishopville resident, was struck and killed by a car at 8 p.m.

Saturday near U.S. 15 in Lee County. Henry Johnson a 36-year-old Lancaster resident, died at about 6 p.m. Saturday when the car he was driving ran off the road In rural Lancaster County. Another weekend fatality occurred when Dorothy Mae Monroe, 53, of Lake City, was involved in a three-car accident on U.S.

52 in Florence County at 12:20 p.m. Saturday. Sanders, Otis Sanders Jimmy Logan, E.E. Gasque and Jim Uhner. Mrs.

Deer was born in Allendale County, a daughter of the late Elliott Franklin and Ida Mary B. Sanders. She was a member of Elloree First Baptist Church and was the widow of William Jake Deer. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Patsy) Jones of Elloree and Miss Miriam Stuart Deer of Columbia; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jones on Cleveland Street in Elloree and at Fogle-Hungerpiller Funeral Home in Elloree. Mrs. Billie deLaRue GREENVILLE, S.C.

The funeral for Mrs. William Harold (Billie) deLaRue, 41, of 5 Tussock Road, Greenville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Greenville, with the Rev. Marshal James officiating.

Burial will be in Mateeba Gardens Cemetery in Summerville. Mrs. deLaRue died Saturday. Pallbearers will be Phil Hinsdale, Scot Henson, Maj. Daniel W.

Henk, Ruttland Riddle, Robert Claussen and Irvin Cohen. Mrs. deLaRue was born in Walterboro, a daughter of the late Abraham Everet Akerman and Mrs. William Harold (Tot-tie) LaCoste. She attended Kings College in Charlotte, and was a member of St.

Peter's Episcopal Church. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Justine Gaillard SANTEE, S.C.

Mrs. Justine Gaillard, 57, of Route 1, Box 901, Santee, died Saturday at Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Hospital following a brief illness. The funeral will be held at noon Tuesday at Santee AME Church in Summerton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be the nephews.

Bell Lewis, Route 4, Box 119, Jamison, and at the funeral home. Mrs. Lou Ella Davis NORWAY, S.C. Mrs. Lou Ella Davis Davis, 82, of Route 1, Box 81, Norway, died Saturday at Providence Hospital in Columbia following an extended illness.

The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Steve Baughman officiating. Burial will be in Willow Swamp Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Davis, George Robert Davis, Nyles Rowell, McCoy Williams, Ralph Parler, Jilian Biering, Harold Davis and Robert Carrigg.

Mrs. Davis was born in Norway, a daughter of the late Richard Samuel and Aurelia Baltzegar Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Willow Swamp Baptist Church and the Rilla Martin W.M.U. Circle. Survivors include three sons, Samuel Arthur Davis of Norway, Rylan Ansel Davis of Bowman and Collis Harold Davis of Bamberg; three daughters, Mrs.

Lewis (Mozelle) Bowmen of Bamberg, Mrs. Oswald (Mattie) Furtick of Springfield and Mrs. Allie (Lucy) Bacon of Norway; and five grandchildren. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs.

Eunice Sanders Deer, 89, of Elloree, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Elloree First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bob Woodham officiating. Burial will follow in Santee Baptist Cemetery. Mrs.

Law enforcement officials burned about five tons of pot during the weekend after it was confiscated at a Laurens County farm Friday night. A woman who arrived at the scene Friday night was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana. Gwendolyn Marie Moore, 39, who lists a Moreland Ave. address in Atlanta was arrested and jailed on $100,000 bond. State Law Enforcement Division narcotics agents spotted the one-acre marijuana field and two smaller fields from the air during a routine surveillance flight Friday afternoon, said Lt.

Jim Moore of the Laurens County Sheriffs Department. He estimated the value of the marijuana at about $5 million. In addition to about 4,500 growing plants, authorities discovered marijuana in a nearby house and two outbuildings where it was being dried and cured, said Steve Smith, head of SLED's narcotics division.
