Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mary Cones Grayton; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Mae William and Mrs. Lois Haynes, both of Orangeburg; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Goodwin of Columbia, Mrs.

Lillie Mae Sumpter of Santee and Mrs. Mattie Mae Grayton of Hollis, N.Y.; three brothers, Curtis Grayton and Henry Grayton, both of Washington, D.C., and Thomas Grayton of Hollis, N.Y. 13 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Cub Scout Day Camp July 11-14 The Orangeburg District Cub Scout Day Camp will be held July 11-14 at the Santee State Park near Elloree, according to a Central South Carolina Scout District spokesman.

Registration fee for the camp is six dollars, the Scout spokesman noted, and may be sent to the Central S.C. Council office, P.O. Box 144, Columbia. The St. Andrews United Methodist Church and Orangeburg First Baptist Church will provide buses leaving from St.

Andrews United Methodist Church on St. Paul Street each morning at 8 a.m. Activities will include games, crafts, swimming, nature hikes, hunter safety instruction and other special events. Recycling Day Is Saturday The Orangeburg Area Development Center staff will sponsor a "Recycling of paper waste and cardboard Saturday July 9, from 9:30 a.m. p.m.

WILLA HOOK NORTH, S.C. Mrs. Willa Hook, 69, died Sunday at Orangeburg Regional Hospital after a short illness. Funeral will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Jerusalem Baptist Church near North with the Rev.

A.M. Utsey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was born in Orangeburg County, daughter of the late Ms. Liza McMichael.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Margaret Robinson, Mrs. Samiza Livingston of North, Mrs. Lena Briggman and Mrs. Liza Peterson of Brooklyn, Mrs.

Queens Ransom of Philadelphia; step-daughter, Mrs. Eathelene Johnson of New York; five sons, Clary Ceacel, Wilbert Hook and Robert Hook of Brooklyn, Junior Ceacel of McClennonsville and Nathaniel Ceacel of Cayce; two step-sons, William Hook of North, Colie Hook of New York; 58 grandchildren. EDWIN COOK BAMBERG, S.C.-Edwin Cook, 65, died Monday night in the Bamberg County Hospital after a long illness. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at the Cooner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bamberg County Memory Gardens. Born in Langley, S.C., Mr.

Cook was a son of the late Nathan and Beulah Heath Cook. He was employed with the Jones Mattress and Upholstering Co. in Bamberg and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mamie Thomasson Cook of Bamberg; one daughter, Miss Elaine Cook of Orangeburg; one son, Tom Cook of Bamberg; three sisters, Mrs.

Ruth Moore of Bamberg, Mrs. Nita Wiliamson of Aiken and Mrs. Beulah Cheek of Jacksonville; three brothers, Johnny Cook and Carl Cook, both of Bamberg and Jack Cook of Aiken; his step-mother, Mrs. Mary Warren. RANDOLPH D.

HUGHES WAGENER, S.C.-Randolph Dale (Randy) Hughes, 25, of died Tuesday in an Augusta, hospital from injuries sustained in a Monday one-car accident near Appling, Ga. The funeral will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at the Wagener United Methodist Church with the Rev. Merle Amspcher officiating. Burial will be in the Wagener Cemetery.

Mr. Hughes born in Dallas, Tex. He was a graduate of the Wagener-Salley High School and a member of the Wagener United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany.

Survivors include his parents, James Morris Hughes and Ruth Brazell Hughes of Wagener; one sister, Mrs. Renee Hughes DiMauro of Wagener; two brothers, Mitchell Hughes of Leesville and Mark Hughes of Wagener. Offered to the public on the first Sunday of each month, the films are a project of the Hospital Auxiliary. A hospital spokesman added that prenatal classes began recently at the hospital. Interested expectant parents should contact the hospital volunteer office for further Sunday, July 10, two movies of interest to expectant mothers and new parents will be shown at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital "The Story of Eric" and "The First Two Weeks of Life," each lasting approximately one and a half hours, will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the hospital conference room. Admission is free.

1, Box 27, St. Matthews, died Saturday at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital. She was 42. Funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev.

He was the son of the late Jake Dupont and Mrs. Evelyn Haynes Dupont and was born in Orangeburg County. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of William Chapel A.M.E. Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs.

SW. MRS. SUSIE JOHNSON NEESES, S.C. Mrs. Susie Johnson, 84, died Monday at Orangeburg Regional Hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Bushy Pond Baptist Church near North with the Rev. A. Clifton Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Teskey died Monday, July 4. He was a merchant in Wynyard for 50 years and a resident of the town since 1923. He was named Citizen of the Year by the local Chamber of Commerce in 1973. A square in a residential area of Wynyard was named for Mr.

Teskey in recognition of his services to the community. MRS. REBECCA RAVENELL EUTAWVILLE, S.C.Mrs. Rebecca Ravenell, 91, died July 2 at the residence of her daughter in Eutawville after an extended illness. The funeral will be 2 p.m.

Thursday, July 7 at the Unity Baptist Church in Eutawville with the Rev. S.T. Nelson, pastor, and the Rev. I.L. Prioleau officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons Walter Ravenell, LeRoy Ravenell, Louis Ravenell, Joe Truman Smalls, John Huger, Theodore Ravenell. Mrs. Ravenell was born in Eutawville, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Cash Davis. She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church and served in the Home Mission Society and as president of the Praying Band. She was also a member of the St. James Christian Aid Society. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs.

Catherine Prioleau of Eutawville, Mrs. Annie Bell Huger of Summerville and Mrs. Janetta Smalls of Cross; five sons, the Rev. Henry Ravenell, Willie Ravenell, James Ravenell Jr. and the Rev.

Francis Ravenell, all of Cross and Abraham Ravenell of The Bronx, N.Y.; 62 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
