He was born Nov. 10, 1929, in Santee, a son of the late Lee Johnson and Geneva Johnson. He was educated in the IrelandSantee public schools and was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Maurlie McNeal of Durham, N.C.; two sons, Morris Johnson Jr. of Durham and Willie Lee Evans of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Mrs.

Lula Mae Johnson and Mrs. Lilie Mae Davis, both of Santee, and Mrs. Lurine Taste of Dayton, Ohio; five brothers, James Johnson of Santee, Silas Johnson of Brooklyn, N.Y., Lee Johnson of Washington, D.C., Johnny Lee Johnson of Dayton and Willie Johnson of Detroit; and three grandchildren. The funeral for Willie Johnson, 64, P.O. Box 523 (Railroad Avenue), Holly Hill, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Greater Target AME Church in Holly Hill, with the Rev. Christopher Smith Jr. officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Johnson died Monday. He was born May 6, 1932, in Holly Hill, a son of Mattie Guess Johnson and the late Wallace Myers. He attended the public schools in Holly Hill and Trident Technical College in Charleston.

He was a retired supervisor with Giant Cement in Holly Hill. He was a member of Target AME Church, where he was church secretary and served on the usher board, trustee board, angelic choir and steward board and as class leader and Sunday school teacher. Survivors include his widow, Neather Capers Johnson of the home; three daughters, Jessie L. Howell of Newark, N.J., Geral-dine Wilson and Dorothy A. McNeil, both of Bronx, N.Y.; his mother of Holly Hill; three sisters, Annie L.

Green and Jessie L. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville. Mr. Flinkingshelt was born in Greenville County, a son of the late William Franklin Flinkingshelt and Arie Elizabeth Allen Flinkingshelt.

He retired as supervisor after 32 years employment with Shedd's Food. He was a member of Griggs Memorial Baptist Church and its Mens' Sunday School Class. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs.

Elizabeth Heatley Flinkingshelt of the home; a son, Herman D. Flinkingshelt of Greenville; a sister, Lillie Mae Forrester of Mauldin; and two grandsons. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church in Cameron, with the Rev. J.J. Glover, Elder W.J. Baxter and the Rev.

W.J. Williams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Pallbearers will be Tyrone Leonard, Sherman Conerly, Jamien Keitt, Jeffery Profit, Damien Keitt and Darron Owens.

Mr. Guinyard died Nov. 29. He was born April 6, 1980, in Orangeburg, a son of Mrs. Ella Ervin Guinyard and the late Albert Lee Guinyard Sr.

He was student at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School and was associated with Shiloh and St. John Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother of Orangeburg; a sister, Erica L. Guinyard of Orangeburg; a brother, Todd Recus T. Guinyard of Orangeburg; and his grandparents, Mrs.

Alma B. Erving of Cameron and Mr. and Mrs. Harold and Blondell Guinyard of St. Matthews.

J. Pettiford officiating. Burial will be Morris Cemetery, Bamberg. Mrs. Rivers died Sunday.

She was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Bamberg County, a daughter of the late Elijah and Alma Smalls. She was a member of Orange Grove United Methodist Church. She was married to the late Leon Rivers. Survivors include three sons, William T.

Smalls of Bamberg, Charles L. Smalls of Orangeburg, and Ernest Rivers of Charlotte, N.C.; five daughters, Mrs. Patsy S. Robinson, Ms. Mary Smalls, Mrs.

Cora S. Carter, Mrs. Loraine R. Carter and Mrs. Adrine R.

Hatcher, all of Bamberg; two brothers, Harvey Smalls of Augusta, and Charlie Smalls of Bamberg; a sister, Ms. Elease S. Smalls of Okeechobee, 15 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Carroll Mortuary of Bamberg and at the residence.

Mrs. Doris Jones Rochester ELLOREE, S.C. Mrs. Doris Jones Rochester, 73, of Calhoun Convalescent Center, St. Matthews, died Wednesday at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Jerusalem United Methodist Church in Elloree, with the Rev. Dr. Noble Miller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Macon Ray Garrick, Bobby Ray Shuler, Cor-rell Robinson, Leroy Polin, Roger Blume, Robin Hood, Lewis Rourk and Steve Wiles. Mrs. Rochester was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late John Frank and Daisey Shuler Jones. She was a retired seamstress. She was a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church, where she was a former member of the church choir and the United Methodist Women.

She was the widow of Edward Rochester. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Alma Jones Heatley of Elloree; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Fogle-Hungerpiller Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the residence of Marion Cherry 306 Stack Elloree. Clyde D. Saxon Jr. ROCHESTER, N.Y. Clyde D.

Saxon 60, of Rochester, N.Y., died Nov. 29 at Rochester General Hospital. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Carmel AME Church in Gray Court, S.C, with the Rev. Phillip Anderson officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Saxon was born May 26, 1936, near Fountain Inn, S.C, a son of Maggie Fowler Saxon and the late Clyde Saxon Sr. In 1958, he earned a degree in agriculture from South Carolina State College. Commissioned into the U.S.

Army, he served 8-12 years. He was an aviator and served in Vietnam, Korea and Germany, attaining the rank of captain. Then he joined Sybron Corporation in Rochester, N.Y., then he became a teacher in the Rochester City School District while earning a masters of science degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. For 19 years he was a quality specialist at Xerox Corporation. He was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church and its Board of Trustees, Men's Fellowship and Building Fund Committee.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred R. Saxon of Rochester; a daughter, Jacquline L. Saxon of Austin, Texas; a son, Richard D. Saxon of Rochester; his mother of Gray Court; two brothers, Isaac Saxon of Pittsburgh, and Mitchell Saxon of Roebuck; three sisters, Mrs.

Joseph (Rosa) Epps of Gray Court, Dr. Maggie Wright of Williamsville, N.Y., and Mrs. John (Annie) Williams of Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. Joseph and Mrs.

Edwards, 19, of 3021 Farway Highway, Green Sea, S.C., pleaded guilty to failure to stop for a blue light and siren and was sentenced to one year in jail, suspended upon 82 days with credit for time served and one year of probation. Edwards also must pay $500 to the Public Defender Fund. James A. Fuller, 20, of 123 Burgess Road, Holly Hill, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to kill and received a sentence not to exceed six years under the Youthful Offenders Act Jerome Glover, 23, of Route 1 Box 469, Santee, pleaded guilty to possession of crack cocaine and was sentenced to five years in jail and a $5,000, suspended upon two years of probation.

Glover also must receive drug treatment at the Dawn Center and pay $200 to the Public Defender Fund. Zachary S. Goodwin, 18, of Mount Airy, N.C., pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen vehicle and received a sentence not to exceed six years under the Youthful Offenders Act, suspended upon three years of probation. Danyell Jenkins, 18, of 320 Banashee Circle, pleaded guilty to misprision of a felony and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, suspended upon five years of probation. Jenkins also must pay $290 to the Public Defender Fund.

Ronald Singleton, 36, of Norway, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and was sentenced to 15 years in prison with credit for time served. Lavito Washington, 24, of 323 Cox Bamberg, pleaded guilty to possession of crack and was sentenced to six years in jail with the judge's recommendation for placement in the alcohol treatment unit. Washington also pleaded guilty to carrying a pistol and received a concurrent one-year sentence. Gunman robs clothing from S.C. State fan Continued from Page 1 Other cases The Orangeburg Department of Public Safety is also investigating the report of an armed robbery on Buckley Street on Dec.

4. A 19-year-old walking home to his Buckley Street residence from a South Carolina State University basketball game at around 9:30 p.m. reported an unknown assailant approached him with a Smith Wesson 9mm handgun and ordered him to lie on the ground. The incident occurred as the victim neared the front yard of his Buckley Street residence. He said the gunman ordered him to lie on the ground and took approximately $685 of his clothing and jewelry, including a Gucci gold link necklace and a $120 pair of sneakers.

He instructed the victim to stay on the ground for 30 minutes until he was gone, but as soon as the gunman got to the end of the street the victim got up and ran inside his residence. The assailant was described as a 25- to 30 year-old black male approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds with light sideburns, a thick goatee, a moustache, black hair and brown eyes. Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office The Orangeburg County Sheriffs Office received a complaint from a 33-year-old female who fives on Coburg Lane that two men kidnapped her at gunpoint on Dec. 2 when her car broke down at Rivelon Road and Edisto Drive at around 2:30 p.m. The woman told deputies the two men pulled up beside her and got out and helped get her vehicle running again.

They then pulled a gun on her, she said, and drove her to a trailer park off Rivelon Road where they held her at gunpoint until Dec. 4 at 12:30 a.m. The woman said the two men then drove with her in her vehicle toward Bamberg, and when she got the opportunity she jumped out and ran. She said the two men left her vehicle parked beside Highway 301, and she got in it and drove to the law enforcement complex to report her abduction. The woman told deputies the two men took her necklace valued at $1,400 and $40 in cash.

Hannah Brooke Muckenfuss, 28-day-old daughter of Mark Muckenfuss and Kelly Knight Muckenfuss of Harleyville, died Thursday at MUSC Medical Center in Charleston. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Harleyville Cemetery, with the Rev. Elisabeth Smith officiating.

She was born Nov. 7, 1996, at MUSC Medical Center. Survivors include her parents of Harleyville; grandparents, Woody and Lorraine Rice Knight of Harleyville and Mrs. Iva Muck-elvaney Muckenfuss of Ridgeville; great-grandparents, Mrs. Betty Powers of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs.

The funeral for John Roger Myers, 48, of 1259 Poplar Hill Drive, Ridgeville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ebenezeber Zion AME Church in Holly Hill, with the Rev. William Blake officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr.

Myers died Monday. He was born April 18, 1948, in Ridgeville. He joined Ebenezer Zion AME Church at an early age. He was a 1966 graduate of Central High School in Cross. Survivors include his widow, Julia White Myers of Holly Hill; two daughters, Ms.

Virginia Myers of Holly Hill, and Lt. Cynthia Myers Daniels of Seoul, South Ilvi ea; a son, Fredrick A. Myers of Ridgeville; four sisters, Mrs. Yvonne Frazier of Ridgeville, Mrs. Glendale Folan of Norfolk, and Ms.

Mrs. Ruby Myers Ott, 70, of Branchville, died Wednesday at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg after a brief illness. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Branchville Baptist Church, with Dr. Richard Porter, the Rev.

Charles Bradley and the Rev. Bobby Ethridge officiating. Burial will be in Ott Cemetery, Brachville. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Marion Garris Sunday School Class of Brachville Baptist Church. Mrs.

Ott was born in Branchville, a daughter of the late Lewis J. Myers and Stella Zigler Myers. She was retired supervisor of food service for the Branchville public schools. She was a member of Branchville Baptist Church and served as chairman of its Benevolence Committee. She was married to the late Robert Vernon Ott.

Survivors include a son, Vernon Ott Jr. of Branchville; four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Floyd of Columbia, Mrs. Eunice Weathers, Mrs. Johnnie Hutto and Mrs.

Joette Judy, all of St. George; two brothers, Neil Myers and Milton Myers, both of Branchville; three sisters, Diane Dukes and Gail Gaskins and Linda Spires, both of Branchville, and Vertie Jeffcoat of North; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. and Howard Davis. Mrs. Wright died Sunday at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg after an extended illness. She was born April 28, 1926, in Vance, a daughter of the late Agnew Davis and Rosa Mae Ifilliard Davis. She was educated in the public schools of Vance.

She was a member of Rock Hill AME Church and was the widow of Thomas Lee Wright. Survivors include 10 daughters, Ms. Vernell Wright, Mrs. Bernice Sims, Ms. Jeannette Wright, Ms.

Vernita Wright, Ms. Barbara Jean Wright, Ms. Leatha Wright, and Ms. Delorise Wright, all of Vance, Ms. Louvern Wright of South Norwalk, Mrs.

Brenda Lee Gadson of Eutawville, and Mrs. Elizabeth Wright of St. George; four sons, Sgt. Melvin Wright of Honolulu, Hawaii, Thomas Wright Gerald Wright, and Andrew Wright, all of Vance; three sister, Mrs. Ruth Howell and Mrs.

Young died Nov. 30. He was born Aug. 14, 1943, in Eutawville, a son of Mrs. Leila Smith Young and the late Mercy Young Sr.

He attended the public schools of Eutawville and was a graduate of Roberts High School in Holly Hill and Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in White Plains, N.Y. He was owner and operator of Timmothy Young Heating and Air Conditioning Company in White Plains. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army. Survivors include a daughter, Ms.
