She was born Aug. 24, 1920, one of 10 children of the late Paul and Annie Lou Hair Wright and the last surviving member. She resided with her mother until her death.

Upon her mother's death, she 1 resided with her sisters, Annie Butler, Clyde Brown and Beatrice Felder. Carrie was able to be self-supporting despite the handicap by performing housekeeping services for several families throughout the community until her health failed. Although Carrie's presence on this earthly plain is no more, her light still shines brightly in the hearts and minds of her loving family and acquaintances that knew and loved her. Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
